As Project Manager, I see projects through from request for proposal (RFP) to submittal of reports. I communicate with clients and site contacts, perform site visits, and generate proposals and reports in the Environmental Services Department. I assess properties, perform research, and write reports for Environmental Site Assessments, Asbestos Surveys, and Property Condition Assessments. I work hard to please our clients and ensure their needs and time frames are being met.

As Staff Specialist / Project Manager, I helped coordinate drilling operations on a segment of the NTE Special Project. I kept close records of details concerning driller safety, utility location, drilling, communication with subs, and communication with the client. I inspected and tested drainage on the DFW Connector Special Project, a $1 billion plus project. On both projects, I acted as liaison between PSI and the client and contractor representatives, worked to ensure conformity to TXDOT standards, reported to and collaborated with engineers on deficiencies and design changes, proofread and authored reports, and assisted with scheduling and assigning technicians, subcontractors, inspectors, drillers, and helpers.

As a Senior Technician, I was responsible for testing soils and concrete in the laboratory and on active jobsites. I was responsible for accurately reporting data about concrete placement, jobsite readiness and conditions, and the results of various in-lab soils and concrete tests. I helped the branch manager write reports, and acted as a liaison between the branch manager, supervisors, and engineers at various jobsites. I also helped make personnel and purchasing decisions, and performed many other duties as needed.

As Youth Worship Director, I led worship for High School and Junior High students on a weekly basis. This involved leading a band of 3 to 4 members, practices and learning songs weekly, managing the sounds system and the audio/visual aspect of the equipment. I met weekly with the youth staff and assisted in planning the worship services and the “flow” of each service. I played guitar and sang, helping to lead worship for groups ranging from 50 to 500 youth.

As Worship Pastor, I helped a church plant from near its beginning. I met and coordinated with the pastor for each worship service, helping to choose songs and plan the service each week. I was with Dayspring through several changes in venue and leadership, often helping by speaking and leading the congregation through the service. I was an integral part of the leadership of the church plant, helping to make logistic and financial decisions about location, equipment, and vision.
