As a member of the United States Naval Special Warfare Command team, the Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC) operate and maintain a fleet of small craft that are used to conduct special operations missions, particularly those of the U.S. Navy SEALs.SWCC receive specialized training that focuses on special operations in the maritime environment, including craft and weapons tactics, techniques, and procedures. Additionally, they have extensive training in tactical driving and convoy operations, which allows them to specialize in swift mobility.Working alongside SEALs, SWCC also provide security detail and evacuation during missions. To excel in this high-stress, combat-focused role, SWCC must be physically fit, highly motivated, and responsive in challenging situations.
