    As a member of the United States Naval Special Warfare Command team, the Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC) operate and maintain a fleet of small craft that are used to conduct special operations missions, particularly those of the U.S. Navy SEALs.SWCC receive specialized training that focuses on special operations in the maritime environment, including craft and weapons tactics, techniques, and procedures. With a primary focus on clandestine infiltration and exfiltration of SEALs and other special operations forces, SWCC are responsible for providing dedicated, rapid mobility in shallow water areas where large ships cannot operate.SWCC possess a diverse range of capabilities, including Direct Action through coastline or rivers (such as strikes, captures, and ship takedowns by Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure), Special Reconnaissance, Coastal Patrol, and Interdiction of suspect ships and surface craft. Additionally, they have extensive training in tactical driving and convoy operations, which allows them to specialize in swift mobility.Working alongside SEALs, SWCC also provide security detail and evacuation during missions. To excel in this high-stress, combat-focused role, SWCC must be physically fit, highly motivated, and responsive in challenging situations.
