Organized and maintained filing system for busy transportation company. Corrected errors from previous temps and enabled employees to start finding what they needed, so they hired me on. Continued on as billing and filing clerk, including duties such as: printing and mailing invoices and past due invoices, billing in TMS system (Maves, then alphaTruck), processing of LTL invoices for payment and resolution of any invoice issues found, created OS&D/Claims program when one was not available, etc.OS&D/Claims program included carrying company phone 24/7 for drivers to call in all exceptions, reporting and resolving delivery issues, working with customers to provide return authorization or similar disposition, reference to freight claims if not able to resolve, investigation of freight claim and decision to pay or deny claim based on evidence provided, processing of check requests and all filing to meet federal regulations 49 CFR 370 & 378.
