Presiding over a team of 18 EHS professionals working closely with operations management to drive EHS excellence at 13 complex metal shredding and processing facilities and 120 feeder sites. Was responsible for environmental permitting and compliance, and driving the safety culture toward sustainable, world class, industry-leading targets.

• Introduced customized EHS Management Systems across global emerging markets. • Facilitated training to Senior Leadership across global operations to sustain management system. Implemented SOPs, safety guarding for machinery, and collaborative safety culture in 3 Chinese manufacturing plants and 32 sales and operations facilities; successfully navigated cultural barriers to drive safety focus. • Slashed recordable and lost time incidents by 20% year-over-year from 2004 to 2013. • Added EHS services to existing customer contracts, achieving more share of wallet, yielding $1M+/yr in revenue and transitioning function to profit center. • Achieved company-best injury rate 5X lower than competition, providing differentiation in market.
