Continuation of my previous role’s duties and responsibilities.Moved into a more customer-facing role where I maintain constant communication with the client, allowing me to adapt the BI Platform to meet the business’ strategies.Built out pre-existing monitoring and alerting dashboards using Grafana, Prometheus and Loki to provide greater insight and allows for quicker support.Responsible for maintaining the Kubernetes infrastructure, as well as keeping all the components updated, as per our InfoSec requirements.Implemented CICD pipelines into existing systems to allow for new data pipelines to be quickly implemented; meeting the client’s needs.

Collaborated -using the Now/Next/Later agile methodology- on building a BI Platform for Risk Management on top of a multi-zone, self-operated Kubernetes cluster. Eliminated GDPR and PCI DSS Level 1 compliance challenges through the use of multi-billion row data cubes and a high-performance de-tokenization service, ensuring information security and regulatory conformity.The tech stack incorporates a balanced mix of both innovative and established open-source components. Running the whole platform on Kubernetes, we used showcase Cloud Native products such as Cilium and Linkerd. The data pipelines produce to Kafka, which Druid then consumes for ingestion, and MongoDB -used in conjunction with our API- provides for a super-fast de-tokenization vault. To allow our end users to have BI and data exploration capabilities we used Superset and Turnillo, which also provide ad-hoc/scheduled historical reporting and monitoring dashboards.
