The result was to reduce manufacturing scrap waste by 50% and take external quality claims down to an almost nonexistent level. This changed the location from a problem supplier to one of the few competent domestic foil producers in the USA.• Oversaw the inauguration of new assets that allowed mill to successfully enter new market segments with difficult to produce surface critical products which were positively accepted by the target customer base.• Chartered the mills offshore CAPEX strategy for mills growth plan resulting in tendering and placing of orders for 2 major CAPEX investments for this location.• Directed the restart of a mill asset that had sat idle for over a decade at less than 20 % of the expected budget. -
