Robert Gawne designed and built the local area network and IT infrastructure for Equity Methods as a start up Company. During his tenure there he was responsible for building the Storage Area Network, setting up clustered Windows servers and SQL database servers and was responsible for moving the production environment out to a co-lo facility, working closely with management and the software development team ensuring the IT solutions that were put into place provide a value add to the company as a whole. Prior to Equity Methods sale to Merrill Lynch Robert was a key player working with all departments ensuring Equity Methods passed their SAS 70 certification.

During Roberts Tenure as a United States Marine he worked as Air Defense Controller MOS 7236. Earned the Navy Commendation medal on 2 separate occasions.Worked a 4 yr special assignment with US Customs working as border radar surveillance operator.Was qualified as a Top Gun Air Defense Controller and also qualified as a Weapons Tactics Instructor. Achieved the qualification as a Senior Air Director and retired as a Master Sergeant.
