Currently serve or have served as an independent director/advisor to real estate investment, development and operating companies, including CBL Properties, Milhaus, The Davis Companies, Collier Enterprises, Retail Properties of America, Liberty Property Trust and Aspen Heights Partners.

► Appointed as one of seven directors following Lehman's emergence from bankruptcy. To date, have made over $95 billion distributions to general unsecured creditors.► Served a rotation as Chairman of the Board as well as member of Real Estate, Finance and Claims & Legal Affairs Committees. ► Direct role in driving the monetization of real estate holdings, including the $6.5 billion sale of Archstone, as well as a diverse portfolio of assets in the US and Europe (residential land, condominum projects, B-notes, hospitality, office, industrial, multi-family, retail, and LP interests).

Recruited one year after government takeover of AIG to plan and execute wind-down of the business unit. Later entrusted with the strategic rebuilding of the investment platform. Oversaw $30+ billion of assets and led a diverse and experienced team of professionals located in New York, Los Angeles, London, Seoul, and other branch offices. Selected accomplishments include:► Stabilized organization through company-wide restructuring and divestiture strategy. Reduced legacy assets under management to $4 billion and preserved more than $2 billion in AIG equity value.► Retained more than 90% of key staff needed to execute wind-down while reducing overall headcount by over 50% and annual operating costs by over $50 million. ► Based on results, earned substantial delegated authority. As sole voting member of Real Estate Investment Committee, was granted commitment authority of $75 million per transaction.► Following repayment of NY Federal Reserve Bank and US Treasury, led "re-boot" of business unit: Closed on more than $2.5 billion in new equity commitments to $8 billion of projects, with focus on ground-up development and value-added acquisitions. Assumed management of $20 billion global Commercial Mortgage Loan team, 100,000+ unit Affordable Housing Group and Stowe Mountain Resort. Reclaimed asset management responsibilities for Shanghai Centre mixed-use project; served as Chair of foreign ownership syndicate.

►Investments: Created and executed investment strategies targeting value-add acquisition and development of office, residential, retail, and industrial properties.►Capital Markets: Structured and marketed specialized REIT funds, raising more than $700 million. Led $2 billion recapitalization of regional mall portfolio. Achieved high watermark pricing with IRR in excess of 15% over 20 years.►Private Equity: Managed controlling interest in Westcor Realty for 10 years, through recapitalization, growth ($1 billion of new development) and eventual auction. Realized over $625 million in distributions and 17% IRR for institutional investors.
