About Jim Given
I am a software developer with a passion for systems related projects. I currently work on the Data Platform for an education analytics company and before in college I focused on Operating and Distributed Systems. I completed a undergraduate thesis in Distributed Systems which won "Best Undergraduate Turing Scholars Thesis" in 2015. Although Operating Systems and Distributed Systems were my interests in college, I am interested in any large and complex system. As a side note, I am also interested in Mathematical Logic, Statistics, and Linguistics (mainly Syntax and Semantics).
