Over his 30 year career, Bob has served as Designer, Project Manager, Quality Control Manager, Architectural Department leader, On-site Construction Manager, Spec Writer & Marketing Coordinator. Bob has been a licensed Architect for 33 years. His strengths are:• Developing client relationships at all levels of an organization by becoming a trusted & accessible expert. He possesses the communication skills to make people listen to him and believe what he has to say to be in their best interest.• Securing repeat business because of his "straight up" advise and proven value of his experience.• Being flexible to adapt to different challenges & client objectives. He does this by acknowledging that some clients want to lead and others want him to lead. • Solving clients' functional, economic and technological problems. As a Designer, he is a primary participant of the design of a project. Solving puzzles is his passion.• Managing the project development process from design thru construction. As Project Manager, he charts the course, establishes the milestones & is responsible to deliver the project on schedule. He believes in the old adage of "plan the work, work the plan".• Educating & developing younger staff by being hands-on throughout the design & documentation portions of a project. Ultimately, he is responsible for all his teams produce. Bob performs all quality control reviews on his projects. He feels this is the best way to stay on top of the progress as well as train staff.• Maintaining a high credibility standing with IDPH and local municipalities by closely coordinating toward common goals. • Understanding the influences the construction environment places on the design. Since Bob has filled the shoes of the designer and construction manager, he has vision into the entire process more than most Architects.• Being detail oriented. The word "meticulous" has been used to describe him. He has been able to leverage that trait to his client's advantage.
