Davison Army Airfield

Manages and oversees all safety related matters for an aviation contract maintenance company. Directly responsible for ensuring all maintenance areas, offices, flight line, other facilities, and all equipment comply with all state and federal regulations. Also oversees and manages all employee training and files to ensure employees have been trained and are current in all areas required to enable them to safely perform their duties. Reviews, updates and writes policies and procedures that are designed to safeguard and improve employee safety and knowledge. Integrates with government safety personnel to ensure overall safety in all areas.

Ft. Bliss, Tx

Responsible for assisting with the planning and conducting of all operations of an aviation attack battalion consisting of over 400 Soldiers. Advises the board of directors on operations conducted from the planning to actual execution phases. These operations consist of but are not limited to all training and evaluation, flight operations, ground movements, ground and aerial gunneries, safety, transportation, planning and operations and any other operation or activity that is required to keep the organization safely trained and operational.

Ft. Bliss, Tx

1SG for an Apache Flight Company consisting of 35 employees. In charge of the health, welfare, training and discipline of 34 Soldiers consisting of pilots and crew member. Oversaw the maintenance, repair and operation of eight AH-64D Apache helicopters and all the equipment required to operate them. Operated in austere environments in numerous worldwide locations conducting training and combat operations.

Ft. Eustis, Va

First Sergeant of an Advanced Individual Training Company. The company consisted of an average of over 200 training Soldiers learning four different aviation maintenance skills and eighteen cadre member to oversee and manage them. Managed around the clock shifts, seven days a week that consisted of training, feeding, housing, discipline, motivation and other required care for all assigned trainees. Responsible for training the next generation of Army aviation maintainers with both the technical skills to conduct the maintenance but also discipline, knowledge, and ability to be a valuable and productive member of the Army and their next units.

Savannah, Ga

Served as aviation safety representative for a globally dispersed special operations aviation regiment battalion with over 600 employees. Oversaw and directed the safety culture of the entire organization. Wrote and implemented procedures and policies to ensure and improve employee safety. Directly responsible for ensuring all facilities (2 aircraft hangers, flight line, vehicle maintenance facility, and several office buildings) in the battalion met and exceeded all federal and state regulations. Trained and tracked required employee safety training.

Savannah, Ga

Responsible for the health and welfare, training and operations of about 26 Soldiers. The department maintained all the avionics and electrical systems of 8 MH-47G and 16 MH-60L highly modified special operations helicopters. Simultaneously operated at numerous locations around the world.

Savannah, Georgia Area

Responsible for the daily safety and training operations of a special operations aviation maintenance company comprised of over 200 Soldiers. Oversaw all operations and regulatory compliance in an aviation maintenance hanger and flight line. Implemented and monitored all safety procedures and policies for the company. Reported to and advised the company commander on all matters related to safety. Trained and tracked all required safety training for all members. In addition to safety I was responsible for tracking and ensuring all mandated required training was completed. Planned and supervised numerous training events to include basic common tasks, weapons proficiency, physical readiness training and testing, equal opportunity, and several other events.

Savannah, Georgia Area

An avionics and electrical section supervisor for the Army's only Special Operation Aviation Regiment. Responsible for the detailed technical inspections, troubleshooting, repair and modifications of 27 non-standard, highly modified MH-60L and MH-47D helicopters and a team consisting of about 25 members. Responsible for over $6 million dollars worth of tools and equipment that was used in multiple locations, worldwide by small 2-3 man teams.
