As part of Avanade’s Senior Leadership, I managed client engagement for a joint service desk operated by Avanade and Microsoft IT. This promotion came as a result of my thorough knowledge of Microsoft's complete line of products, demonstrating my ability to learn quickly.After 18 months with Microsoft, these same skills led to my being hand selected for a special 8 person sales team that introduced Windows NT to Microsoft's Fortune 500 customers. On average, I closed 120% of goal in sales every quarter while in this position.My ability to understand the technology and explain it to my customers in a way that would help their business led to my final job at Microsoft in Solutions Marketing. In that position I was responsible for presentations and marketing used by Microsoft's worldwide sales force in relation to all business systems related products.
