Sport. TogetherAs CFO of FANZO, my primary responsibility is to deliver comprehensive financial oversight, ensuring clear visibility into the financial health and performance of the organization. I drive the alignment of our strategic objectives with robust and actionable business and financial plans, setting ambitious yet achievable targets to support our global growth. Beyond my financial role, I enhance strategic decision-making across the business by leveraging data and insights and I lead the HR and Operations functions, fostering operational excellence and empowering our talent to achieve company-wide goals.

In this role, I oversaw both Operations and Finance to drive business growth across all departments, blending my passion for numbers, Excel, and sports with strategic leadership. My key responsibilities included enhancing decision-making through financial insights, ensuring clear and transparent financial visibility, and setting and monitoring key business targets (KPIs). I was also responsible for translating our strategic goals into ambitious, yet achievable, business and financial plans that supported the company’s long-term vision.

In this role, I leveraged our unique insights across pubs, users, and brands to generate actionable intelligence that informed both internal strategic direction and value for our network. My responsibilities included developing and marketing white papers, strengthening our category positioning, and enhancing our internal data capabilities. Through these initiatives, I helped drive informed decision-making and positioned the company as a thought leader within the industry.

I was responsible for managing all of FANZO's National Pub Group accounts, ensuring optimal use of the pub platform and fostering strong client relationships. This role involved overseeing the training process, closely monitoring platform usage, and delivering detailed performance reports to drive client engagement. I also led negotiations and renegotiations of subscriptions, ensuring both customer satisfaction and alignment with business objectives.

I performed systematic reviews and meta-analyses of scientific literature, with a particular focus on General Anaesthetic's effects on the neonatal population but also taking part in multiple systematic pain projects. I was selected to present my findings at the Scottish Paediatric Anaesthetic Annual Conference in 2010, and presented in Washington at the 3rd International Symposium of Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis.

I was responsible for performing due diligence on deals ranging from $5 million to $200 million. Combining research on potential clients and partners, reviewing and writing business proposals and building financial models and forecasts to evaluate long term ROI and deal viability.
