Every day is an adventure! I have the privilege of working with a great company in one of the most beautiful settings in the south. I work with a great team of people to organize and schedule company-sponsored events. These events include the Russell Forest Run (a 5K - 10K run that benefits the local school foundation), a family friendly Friday night on the Town Green with music and lawn games at Russell Crossroads, Derby Day Fun, 4th of July Fireworks and Concert, to a major concert at The Amp on Lake Martin featuring names like Zac Brown, St Paul and the Broken Bones, Sister Hazel, Corey Smith, Blues Traveler, Blackberry Smoke, Kansas, Moon Taxi, Tonic, Drive-By Truckers and more. Although these are my primary duties I work closely with the marketing department to promote our company!

Audio-Video - Production to Sales. Although the description is brief, it is concise. I developed, produced, and was the first host of a morning show that is still on the air, I produced commercials including copywriting, videography, editing, and voice over. I managed the station after the owner's death until the property was sold.

During the time that I was with White Furniture first as an employee then owner I was able to continue to work in the broadcast industry. As an employee I was directly involved in inventory control, finance, sales and delivery schedules. As owner I was still responsible for all of the above, plus the challenges and opportunities one has in owning a business.The time period that I was at White Furniture overlaps time in the broadcast industry as I was able to do them concurrently.
