As of the first of January 2013 I work as a Client Reporting Analyst at Achmea Ivestment Management (Achmea IM). As a Client Reporting Analyst I'm responsible for generating and analysing monthly statements for Achmea IM's portfolios. Achmea IM's portfolios are administrated in Symcorp Dimension.I am specialised in analysing (big) data, automating processes and reports, using all the tools that are available (MS Word, MS Excel, VBS, Symcorp Dimension, SQL, Power Platform). With more than 20 years of experience I have become an expert in Excel solutions. I have created hundreds of solutions over the years providing useful data but also saving a lot of manual work. Lately I have been focusing on the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Report Builder).My role is also that of a business analyst. Translating business requirements into IT-solutions. I am participating in various projects where I work closely (mostly agile) with our external software developers (Alten, Ettu, Schuberg Philis), internal Application/Functional Managers, business owners and stakeholders.During my career I have developed a lot of knowledge about banking/asset management and IT-solutions. Because I speak both languages I can be very helpfull comunicating between the Business and software developers.As of 2016 I am also functioning as a Performance analyst. I support the Performance team as much as I can by improving processes and automating.

In 2012 Van Lanschot decided to combine Asset Management at Van Lanschot with Asset Management at Kempen & Co (part of the Van Lanschot group). That meant I moved to Kempen as of the first of July 2012 and became Functional Application Manager for the devision Standard Asset Management at Kempen & Co. My task at first was to succesfully transfer all Van Lanschot clients and reports to kempen & Co who also used SS&C-tools. After succesfully doing so I decided to look for a new challenge outside the Van Lanschot/Kempen organization.

At Van Lanschot I was senior Reporting Analyst of the department "Portfolio Accounting & Reporting" which is responsible for the administration of Van Lanschot's private asset management clients.In 2000 I participated in implementing a brand new Asset Management Tool, purchased from FMC (later SS&C). I had to start from scratch so I ended up knowing all ins en outs.A few years later I started to focus on our Client Reports, built with SS&C Pages. At first I worked closely with one of Van Laschot's Functional/Application managers. I translated wishes (new reports/changes etc) into Specs and RFC's. I finally ended up developing on my own using all the tools provided by SS&C Pages (MS Word, MS Excel, VBS, SQL, Crystal Reports). I became a specialist and built an entire, fully automated Asset Management Report on my own.During my 12 years at Van Lanschot I participated in various projects. I also functioned as a backup for performance- and attribution calculation in SS&C Sylvan.
