Based in the US, annual revenue of $11B.Robert managed the EMEA Datacenter / Enterprise channels, System solutions team and OEM business at Seagate Technology. He was responsible for establishing the overall go-to-market strategy, country, channel and account coverage, team management (11 direct reports + 15 in-direct/matrix), and exceeding revenue, margin and market share goals. The business generated $300M per year with an expectation of double digit growth. Majority of the business was achieved through distribution, two-tier systems integration, VARs, and about 10 direct OEM customers.

Maxtor was acquired by Seagate in 2006.Robert was responsible for Sales, Marketing and PR in the Nordic & Baltic countries. He grew Maxtor’s market share from 34% to 52% within the first year, achieving $100M of annual sales, mainly focusing on distribution channel, SMB, retail and corporate sales. He won the largest corp tender to date globally with Norwegian petrol company Statoil and was awarded EMEA sales manager of the year in 2004.

Iomega was later acquired by the Lenovo/EMC Group.Robert managed retail sales for the Nordic and Baltic markets. In 2003, in Robert’s first year of sales, the Nordic business was up 55% from 2002 to $12M annual revenue while Iomega declined ~30% globally during the same period.
