Primary responsibilities include Accounting/Reporting, Tax, Internal Audit, IT, Treasury, and Human Resources. During my tenure as CFO, Net Income went from negative to positive and EBITDA increased 6X. In addition, currently the key company liaison between the Private Equity Owner and the Company.Developed and drove the entire annual planning process setting the overall parameters with input from the CEO and then the sites and key functions. In addition, facilitate the due diligence of potential buyers and participate in management presentations. Successfully developed the business case and implementation of the full suite of the cloud version of Oracle Fusion, introduced full standard costing to the group, and implemented additional modules for e-procurement, supply planning, and warehouse management. Outside of Oracle, we also implemented a freight management system and moved our payroll systems into the cloud. In addition, negotiated and closed multiple separate bank financings for the group. 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 that included revolving credit facilities, invoice financing facilities, and bank guarantee facilities.

Avation PLC is a specialist commercial passenger aircraft leasing company managing a fleet of aircraft which it leases to airlines across the world. The company had 20 employees servicing $1B USD in assets. Revenue was earned through lease payments coming in monthly from 37 aircraft and monthly loan payments for each of these aircraft. The Group’s fleet includes Airbus A330 and Boeing B777 wide-body jets, Airbus A320 and A321 narrow-body jets, ATR 72 twin engine turboprop aircraft and five older Fokker 100 jets. The company successfully utilizes secured bank financing, debt, and equity capital markets to support its capital funding requirements.During my tenure, revenue grew from $71M USD in 2016 to $109M USD in 2018 or +54%. Assets grew from $832M to $1.52B. Day to day accounting functions were performed by an outsourced provider and my team's role was to supervise the accounting firm, analyze the monthly financial statements for all entities, consolidate the monthly statements, and prepare monthly financial reports. In addition, prepared forecasts, advised on new leases/aircraft purchases, managed the annual audit, studied the capital structure, and made recommendations on potential changes. In addition, participated in the preparation and review of any public filings.

MMI is a one of the largest manufacturers for hard disk drive components in the world with operations in China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and the U.S.A. MMI's revenues exceeded $700M USD and has more than 12,000 employees. MMI issued a publicly traded $300M USD bond in Feb 2012 and is majority owned by KKR, a leading private equity firm.Group CFO with responsibility for all Finance, Tax Planning, M&A, Treasury (cash management), Banking Relationships, IT, Internal Audit, and Financial Planning & Analysis activities. One of the four members of the company’s executive committee along with conducting quarterly investor conference calls. Led a team of 9 (accounting/finance direct reports) and oversaw the entire groups (31 divisions) budgets. Instrumental in growing revenue grew from $471M in 2009 to its peak of $929M in 2012. Was the lead for IPO preparation working closely with the investment banks (JP Morgan & UBS) and the law firm on preparing the prospectus, financial modelling, handling the due diligence the banks needed, presentations, met with the stock exchange, and ultimately going on a global road show to present to investors. In addition, played an integral role in the acquisition of 3 entities, conducting the initial review to understand the strategic fit for the group. Worked with legal and financial advisors in completing due diligence, the sales and purchase agreement along with leading the post-acquisition effort to integrate the new firms into MMI’s systems and reporting structure. Initial negotiation for these 3 firms was conducted by KKR and many of the follow-on acquisitions (these were smaller) was done by the management team. Was the company’s key liaison to KKR.

Macquarie Group Limited is an Australia based global financial services firm. The Company operates in asset management, retail and business banking, wealth management, leasing and asset financing, market access, commodity trading, renewables development, specialist advice, access to capital, and principal investment.COO/CFO of a diverse group of businesses in Korea, including Investment Banking, Securities (cash equities, OTC derivatives, futures), Private Equity, Publicly Traded Infrastructure Fund, Real Estate Investments, Leasing, and Asset Management. Oversaw a team of 7 direct reports and 10 individual businesses holding responsibility for Finance, Tax, HR, Corporate Secretarial, and Business Services (facilities & office services). Managed the other non-finance roles in the company and was appointed the liquidator of one business that closed and helped setup a new bank branch which was a complex, highly regulated effort.

Mando was a fast growing $2.3B manufacturer of automotive chassis components with major customers that included Hyundai and GM. The company (majority owned by the private equity arms of JP Morgan and UBS) had operations in Korea, across Asia, and the United States.Directed the worldwide financial activities of a major global auto parts manufacturer holding responsibilities that included Treasury, Audit, Tax, FP&A, and Accounting. Played a significant role in accelerating the drive to implement global standards for accounting, finance, corporate governance, and general transparency. Key person inside the group helping lead the company to a successful exit for the private equity owners. Oversaw the VP of Accounting and the Head of Treasury along with a staff of 20 and 15 entities consolidated including 3 joint ventures.During my tenure, revenue grew from approximately $1.4B to $2.3B with profits growing at a similar trajectory. Established a relationship with Citibank and raised $20M each in China and the U.S. along with managing the relationship with the bond agent for a $200M offshore (Netherlands) bond. In addition, was the key liaison within the company for running the sell-side process where the shareholders divested the business holding responsibility for the due diligence, working with shareholder counsel in Hong Kong, JP Morgan’s banking arm, and preparing senior management presentations.
