Personnel and Project Management of Hardware Engineering teams supporting world wide hardware compliance for IBM Power and Storage brands. Manage engineering teams of Product Safety, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Environmental Compliance, Acoustics/Shock and Vibration, and Energy Efficiency. Built and currently support a large HIPAA enabled / controlled development and test lab for 500+ worldwide developers in the IBM Watson Health Business Group. Ensure security of on premises lab and large cloud environments. Manager responsible for 4000+ cloud based systems for Watson Health development activities. Management of Kubernetes / Docker clusters, cloud services, and the network firewalls to connect all solution components. Manage daily runtime activities for the development / test infrastructure and problem debug for the development organization. Manage all infrastructure (systems, storage, network, san, middleware) and processes in a secure HIPAA controlled environment. Investigate any HIPAA / PHI potential security incidents and coordinate necessary remediation activities with the Watson Health Compliance and Security Teams.
