Cross function with Heineken Global Procurement / Global Supply Chain / Global Production During the outbreak of COVID-19, the request came from many breweries around the world for support in sourcing such items as mouth masks and hand sanitizers. Partly due to the shutdown of all investments, Heineken asked me, because of my experience in sourcing and purchasing goods, to ensure that sufficient goods were made available for all breweries worldwide. For this I helped setting up a complete supply chain strategy and network including a distribution center in Asia for the APAC region, Europe for the EUR/AMEA region and America for the NSA region as well as an ordering platform.

A special innovation project (BLADE) was on hold at Heineken due to absence of buyer and internal procedure to fill position and then I was asked to revive the project until then. Here I was responsible for the global strategic procurement of various packaging (PET preforms, packaging innovations for beer systems, packaging machines), led the tenders, negotiated supply contracts, and maintained relationships with key stakeholders.

Due to the growth of Fasten, I was asked to set up a complete supply chain in Europe for the manufacture of packaging for the cosmetic industry. This included:- Fully setting up a new supplier base specializing in cosmetics packaging (including PET/HDPE bottles, tubes, glass jars, dispencers, etc.). - Factories that produced molds for IBM/ISBM- Contracting carriers for transportation between factories and warehouse

Procurement of private label plastic bags (garbage bags, sandwich bags, freezer bags, ice cube bags, T-shirt bags and biodegradable bags) and PP non-woven shopping bags.
