Consolidated the Student Hubs environment network – a group of coordinators and students around the country – organised group workshops and meetings, started a bi-weekly newsletter.Research & Development: Established Hub Investigates, a research project enlisting students to research issues (including consumption of organic food) in their local area and how to address these issues.Impact Measurement: Measured the organisation’s social and environmental impact using impact measurement techniques. Created their first sustainability report.

Campaigning to have ecocide (the large-scale destruction of the environment) recognised as the 5th Crime Against Peace in the UN. Spearheaded by barrister, international lawyer, and author Polly Higgins.Communications: communicated and liaised with directors of national and international charities (e.g. Earth Day Network, 350.org), politicians (including members of the Cabinet Office), and consultancies (e.g. futerra). Public speaking: gave a talk and Q&A session at the event Global Cornwall, hosted by Kneehigh Theatre, to an audience of over 200. Presented to an audience at the South Bank Festival of Ideas. Shared a panel with Oscar-winning actress Vanessa Redgrave at her Humanitas lecture.Fundraising: Successfully fundraised from the Polden Puckham Charitable Foundation.
