For over 30 years, I have been advising national and international organizations on employee benefits on innovative solutions for group insurance and group retirement plans. I am the Vice President of CAPCORP, Canada's leading independent financial services firm. After earning a BA in Political Science and an MPA in Government and Business Administration, I spent several years in the political arena managing campaigns and holding key advisory roles such as executive assistant to a Member of Parliament and as chief of staff to a federal Minister. Following my involvement in politics, I transitioned to working as an Employee Benefit Specialist at insurance companies London Life and Great West Life. In 1992, I was recruited to become a partner at CAPCORP, where I provide clients worldwide with innovative solutions to plan, implement, and protect their financial future. My extensive knowledge of employee benefits and retirement plans has been an integral component in growing CAPCORP 30x over the past 25+ years. My experience in the financial services industry led me to TIGER 21 as their Ottawa Chair in 2016. In 2018, as chair of an Ottawa group for MacKay CEO Forums I brought together successful business CEOs to deal with their most pressing issues in a high accountability, high impact confidential environment.I am past chair and board member of both The Benefits Alliance Group and The Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health.
