Duties were to primarily support the Secretary of the Air Force/Acquisitions-Engineering and Research (SAF/AQR) effort to evaluate possible changes to the current concept for Close Air Support (CAS) that could increase CAS capability, capacity, or availability over the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP).• Performed systems engineering and integration with existing U.S. Department of Defense systems (ATAK, BAO Kit, ASOC Gateway) and networks (Link-16, VMF, SADL, Net-T) to support the proliferation of a common tactical picture for special operations forces, joint terminal attack controllers, and coalition ground forces.• Worked with U.S. Department of Defense clients (AFSOC, SOCOM, ACC, etc.) and stakeholders to produce scope, objectives, research questions, attributes and metrics for field experimentation. • Led, managed and executed projects focused on facilitating the interoperability of government systems (US and Coalition) for Digitally Aided Close Air Support (DACAS). Field experimentation and demonstrations were held at multiple government sponsored venues.

Additionally, as Project Manager I developed new processes and procedures to meet organizational strategic goals and to ensure project success. Documentation maintained throughout the project was consistent with Project Management Institute’s PMBOK best practices. Experience includes resource management in matrix and projectized organizational structures with carefully developed communication plans.
