I have over 30 years Consultancy Experience of which 26 were working within a Global Multidisciplinary Consultancy as it grew from a predominantly UK focused business to a truly Global market leader.My Technical roots are within the Contaminated Land and Remediation Sector. I started running a team, then moved on to running a Division. My role then developed, and I became responsible for multiple teams within the Environmental sector. I then moved into an Operational and Commercial role, initially focused on the Environmental sector and then progressed to managing other technical areas. For the last 10 years my responsibility has been for combined teams (Strategic Business Units), with around 2500 technical staff. This has included technical teams covering specialists in Planning, Transport, Project and Commercial Services, Strategic Advisory, Local Government outsourced Teams, and Environmental.During this period I have been responsible for the budgeting process and holding teams accountable for the delivery of these budgets. I have been responsible for driving organic growth, new service offerings, and margin improvement. My role has had a clear focus on growing the top-line Net Revenue and improving the bottom-line profit. Leading, managing, developing and recruiting the right team to deliver this is key.Commercially, I have been responsible at all stages of the project life cycle at the initial bids stage (both fee submission and contractual sign-off), during project delivery and project close, including dispute management. Within the wider WSP integration process I have overseen the successful integration of a number of businesses, into my teams including, PB, Mouchel, Schlumberger, Wood, Opus, Capita, and a number of smaller niche acquisitions.I have also spent 2 years working on the design of a new Global ERP system, working across Europe and America to identfy the best elements our different operating systems to design the most effective new ERP system. The ERP system was rolled out in 2023 and 2024.
