Responsible for a variety of regional multi-client studies in the WCSB and consultant to a diverse group of emerging Calgary based international companies. Additional responsibilities include Geoscience Lead for a reservoir development project on what is currently the largest offshore oil field in Mexico (4.9 billion barrels of reserves). The study was conducted for PEMEX and was part of a joint venture initiative between Fletcher Challenge and Petrel Robertson. The field currently produces ~853,000 barrels/day. As the manager of Petrophysical Core Services, developed a business and technical strategic alliance between Petrel Robertson, the Petroleum Recovery Institute and Maxim Analytics to offer integrated petroleum services to the energy industry.

Supervised and conducted numerous integrated reservoir characterization studies in western Canada, frontier and international. Integrated studies involved the incorporation of petrology, core descriptions, sedimentology, log analysis, petrophysics and special core analysis. Developed proficiency in clastic and carbonate petrology, sedimentology and petrophysics. Supervised four geologists/petrologists and six technologists within the Geological Sciences Group. Projects included detailed reservoir evaluations, special core studies, log analysis, petrology, sedimentology, and formation damage assessment. Conducted numerous courses to the energy industry on the above subjects.
