Board member, lender and transitional financial advisor. In March, 2014, BG Services refinanced the MBO debt and repaid the seller-carry notes in full.

Invested $0.5 million of personal savings into wholesale distribution business - built, managed and ultimately sold for $7.5 million.Grew revenue from $350K to $7.0 million and stabilized the rate of decline in operating profit margins. Implemented a fixed asset management tracking system, streamlined inventory by consolidating all inventory into one St. Louis based warehouse and deployed new third party carrier delivery model. Rebuilt the financial reporting process, instituted annual financial audits, automated sales order entry, developed sales tracking tools, drove financial planning & analysis process and directed all Treasury functions including cash forecasting, budgeting and bank relations.Developed a standardized customer-pricing framework, redefined the ideal sales candidate, retooled the sales organization, developed and implemented performance metrics and a formal performance appraisal process. Developed and implemented a new gross profit margin based compensation plan that reduced sales compensation from 40% to 25% of revenue.Directed the MBO sales process, developed business valuation model, identified tax and accounting implications of deal structure and financed majority of deal.

Solant was an innovative software developer focused on electronic bill presentment and payment, bill consolidation, and internet-based interactive customer care. Solant was acquired by San Francisco based Avolent, Inc. in a reverse triangular merger on January 11, 2001. Drove all activities related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and strategic partnerships.Negotiated the merger with Avolent, developed the Solant valuation framework, led the due diligence effort on Avolent, managed outside legal counsel and document preparation, liaised with Private Equity Preferred Stock Investors.

MediaOne International was the London-based arm of MediaOne Group, a media/cable/telephony and international wireless company spun off from the Regional Bell Operating Company, US WEST, Inc. in 1998 and acquired by AT&T in 2000. Recruited by MediaOne International President/CEO to execute all corporate development activities throughout Europe. Managed cross-functional deal teams of subject matter experts, including legal, tax, human resources and accounting on every transaction.Directed the sale of the European assets, including the sale of the Eastern European Wireless Assets to Deutsche Telekom for $2 billion and co-managed the sale of One 2 One for £8.4 billion. Liaised with investment bankers on all divestiture transactions and the back-up alternative IPO for One 2 One. Active Board Member of A2000, a cable/telephony business sold to UPC, and Cable Lyonnaise, a French cable business sold to Suez-Lyonnaise des Eaux.

US WEST was a provider of local and long distance telephone services, data transmission services, cable television, wireless communication, and related telecommunications products. Multiple roles in company over 11-year career, from Cash Manager to Executive Director. Executive Director | Directed all Finance activities for US WEST Dex’s Midwest Region, a division with over $300 million in revenue. Executive Director | Directed all Finance, Strategy and Corporate Development activities for US WEST Media Group’s Wireless Operations and Investments Group, including significant wireless industry merger. Director | Directed all Finance activities for the Personal Communications Development Group, a strategic planning group responsible for positioning US WEST in the PCS spectrum auction. Managed the team that developed the financial model to quantify the PCS business opportunity for US WEST.
