As a direct report to the Chief Data & AI Officer at NASA, I provide trusted consultative guidance to the CDAIO in establishing data governance, data strategy, data tooling, AI/ML strategy, and coordinate all programs and projects within the office of the CDAIO. As a member of the US Government Chief Data Officer council and involved in four workgroups, presented on the DAMA DMBOK crosswalk that the author led a team in the CIO's office to define functions, roles (RASCI), inputs, deliverables, for best-practice data governance and established the Enterprise Data Working Group along with developed presentations for the Data Governance Board at NASA.

Having been a member of the isCDO for a number of years, joined the Board of Directors as the Education and Training lead. Will be teaming with industry Chief Data Officers in order to develop artifacts that will assist CDO's in best practices. Recently presented on "Best Practices for a 90 Day Plan" for CDO's and next focusing on developing a data catalog/dictionary of defined data terms for CDO's globally. Will begin working closely with Universities, including the foundational MIT CDOIQ Symposium, and both civilian and government CDO's. The Chief Data Officer and Information Quality Symposium (CDOIQ) formally held at MIT is one of the key events for sharing and exchanging cutting-edge ideas, content, and discussions. Our purpose is to advance the knowledge and accelerate the adoption of the role of Chief Data Officer (CDO) in all industries. Global events focus on the challenges specifically faced by data leaders and the sharing of best practices - for CDOs by CDOs. As data is a critical aspect of every organization, the symposium is focusing on the management and leadership of this critical element in Europe for the 21st century that will benefit every attendee. In 2022 I was a part of the planning commmittees for both Boston and Europe. In 2023, I held the role of Operations Director for the 17th Annual Symposium and was the Emcee for the CDOIQ Summit and have been a contributor to the event for over a decade.
