About Robert Little

Curiosity with impact. Robert is a Sustainability Strategy Lead & Subject Matter Expert at Google. Robert holds a Masters of Environmental Management degree from the Yale School of The Environment with specializations in Business & Industrial Ecology. He was a 2020 & 2019 Climate Corps Fellow for Google & PepsiCo focused on circularity, packaging, recycling, and sustainability analytics. Previously, Robert served as the Chief of Staff at Sherwood Design Engineers, a civil engineering firm creating resilient infrastructure at the intersection of high performance ecology, sound engineering, and visionary design. At Sherwood, he helped manage the Bay Area Resilient by Design Competition, in addition to driving external communication, managing key hires, and working with executive leadership on project management, thought leadership, business development, and firm-wide budgeting. Robert also served as a Fulbright Scholar in South Korea, conducting research on environmental literacy and teaching English at a top specialty science high school. A graduate of Pitzer College with double honors degrees in Environmental Policy and Sociology, Robert blurred the lines between his academics and passions while balancing several management positions and maintaining a sterling GPA. His theses have been accepted for publication online and soon to be in print. He is highly adaptable, eager to gain new life and work experiences, and is a pioneer within and beyond classroom walls.
