Seattle Lab was founded in 1989 to create the first commercially available electronic mail server to run on Windows NT (SL Mail). Other products included SL Net which enabled multiuser access to Windows NT through a command-line interface via serial and telnet connections.After joining Seattle Lab, I worked with the management team to expand our email product line to include one of the first ASP-based mail and calendering solutions on the market. Millennium Office is web-based virtual office software that offers secure access to essential office tools, including e-mail, address book, calendar, fax, expense report, and others, from a Web browser.2000 - Sold Seattle Lab, Inc. 2000 to BVRP, a leading producer of software in FranceAs Chairman and CEO, and as the designated representative of the major stakeholder, I played a leading role in the direct negotiations with BVRP (now Avanquest Software) of France

In 1990 PIN released an interface for integrating applications targeted for use on industrial-class radio frequency devices. Customers could write host-based applications by leveraging specific APIs that communicated in real-time with a device resident thin client which provided comprehensive control over the specialized device capabilities such as the barcode scanner, integrated keyboard, local disks and display. Developers could write sophisticated applications to automate material handling applications completely without writing any device-side code. This thin-client architecture enabled enterprises to leverage their existing ERP systems and the existing skill sets of their internal application developers.

CIMS authored a warehouse management system for mid-size companies that incorporated the latest data collection technologies. Our WMS included remote order entry systems utilizing data collection devices from Azurdata, MSI and Symbol Technologies and voice synthesized transmission acknowledgement systems.It ran on Prime Computer's Information RDBMS and was subsequently ported to various Unix-based systems.In addition to a warehouse management systems, CIMS created Route accounting systems, Truck scaling and export brokerage systems.Example customers: Bartell Drugs, Price Mart, Fibers International, Lynden Transportation
