Dagelijks zet ik mij in voor het verbeteren van de materieellogistieke keten van grondgebonden voertuigen en wapensystemen. Daarmee geef ik samen met mijn collega's invulling aan een inzetbare krijgsmacht die in staat is om, in samenwerking met onze industriële partners, een grootschalig militair conflict te kunnen volhouden. Daarnaast ben ik Project Lead voor Predictive Maintenance. Samen met de 'coalition of the willing' mogen we de meerwaarde aantonen met de Boxer vloot als proeftuin. In my final position within Alliander I was responsible for an Agile Release Train (ART) that consisted of 8 scrum teams (68 FTE) with a total yearly budget exceeding 11 mln. With these teams we delivered digital products that facilitate the entire production process of consumer grid connections (for example, new public charging stations). Our goal was to develop a new digital, cloud-based (JAVA/Kotlin) and highly automated production process while at the same time phasing out our SAP legacy systems by 2026. Through this change we keep up with the latest IT architecture, we're able to reduce operational costs and we can increase the predictability and quality of the core tasks as a distribution grid operator. The latter is increasingly difficult because of the limited available grid capacity, a symptom of the energy transition. Main developments:- Establishment of the framework of Actvity-based working & the uniform production process- Automation of the electric grid capacity calculation, photo recognition, soil survey & permit proces.- Grew the ART with 3 new teams and increased the budget of the ART with 3,5 mln

I was responsible for a legacy order management system that is compatible with the national messaging standard (DSP; Digitaal Samenwerkingsplatform) in the utilities sector. On a yearly basis 200.000 orders pass through the system towards 18 contractors. I ensured all contractors work through this single process by completing the implementation of DSP with the final 7 contractors. This way we were able to phase out our own portal used by external contractors and reduce our overall maintenance and upkeep costs.

The team I operated in was the support team of the consumer chain. This team of consultants and project managers is responsible for coordinating and implementing changes in operation. My main project involved the integration of public lighting, previously part of Ziut, into our Liander operations. My responsibility was to manage the contracts part of the project. Through the method of a public offer our team contracted 14 companies for a period of 2 years and is expected to account for approximately 20 mln.

The management traineeship consists of 2 assignments of 6 months. After this, a year of traineeship support and training follows while the trainee works in his or her first position. My assignments were the following:Assignment 1: For a period of six months I worked in the role of business consultant. I experienced and contributed in the transition from traditional project management to the scrum methodology. I was closely involved in the development of a customer journey, which laid the foundation of what we wanted to achieve. I was responsible for the mapping of the as-is situation from a technical, business and customer perspective. Assignment 2: For a period of four months I worked for the Corporate Social Responsibility department. Here I had a very diverse role, from technical specialist to coordinator, on several projects. The main focus was to optimize and showcase the business case of circularity. For this, the redeployment of our assets is the most concrete and operational programme.
