Robert Jayne is a real estate professional specializing in consulting for construction debt financing, construction software technology, and asset portfolio management. He was a partner, executive team member, and Chief Construction Officer with Genesis Capital, partnering with firms Oaktree, Goldman Sachs, and Rithm. Robert is committed to introducing a fintech approach to the construction lending space, helping develop construction technologies for multiple software platforms. He has over 25 years of real estate development experience in asset valuations, acquisitions, dispositions, and property title priority. He has expertise in production scaling processes and building transactional volume infrastructure for companies. His deep level of expertise in complex construction developments, risk management, and operations. Outside of the corporate lending world, his design-build accomplishments have been featured in Los Angeles Times, as well as a notable highlight where the City of Los Angeles formally recognized him for special achievements renovating historical preservation properties. He has partnered and founded multiple real estate development companies, including design-build firms that completed over 350 projects in renovation, consultation, and design. Initially starting with just a few "fix & flip" projects over 25 years ago, his understanding of scaled growth strategies outpaced only focusing in Los Angeles. Within only a few years, his real estate footprint covered Oregon, Northern California, Washington, and Arizona, using his comprehension of real estate title law as a competitive advantage for property acquisitions.As the downturn developed through 2008, he was a senior team member for 7-Eleven South-West division, managing team personnel responsible for over 800 stores and developing a 750 million dollar national renovation program. He’s held a General Contractor license for 20 years and attended the MBA program at the University of Colorado, as well as LACC and LAVC. He currently is on the board of multiple corporations, including UC Irvine.
