+ Planned and implemented the rollout of OpenMedia newsroom system to BBC News teams across UK and international sites.+ Facilitated dialogue between project staff, developers, trainers, managers and change agents.+ Fed back product issues and change requests to technical teams.+ Oversaw the first international services (Dari and Pashto) to go-live in the new system. + Planned and implemented the rollout to our Nairobi site.

Producer and reporter for BBC Business programmes including World Business Report, Business Matters, Tech Tent and The Food Chain. Occasional maker of radio documentaries and short form video. Launch editor for World Service edition of Marketplace Morning Report on US public radio. OpenMedia migration lead for W1 Business & Economics unit within Newsgathering.

Responsible for the studio operation & direction of radio programmes on the BBC’s international and domestic services. In 2012, I was involved in the final transmissions from Bush House and amongst the first to broadcast from new facilities at Broadcasting House.My work covered the full range of networks including BBC World Service, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Asian Network and global services such as BBC Russian and BBC Swahili. Additional duties include audio restoration, consulting on special programmes and providing English translation voiceovers.

1 Giant Leap is a collaboration of musicians and global figures exploring life’s big themes through a feature film, TV series and music products. Simon Fuller’s company financed the project and the TV series was broadcast in the UK on Channel 4.

Supporting a team of 12 creatives who made promotions for regional TV programmes. My duties included making a monthly showreel of their work and maintaining the website. Also assisted with location shoots, including assistant directing.
