  I am a mechanical Engineer who has been involved in the plastics and metals industries for over 30 years. Throughout my career, I have held various positions related to Mechanical Engineering, the responsibilities I fulfilled are outlined below.*Design, develop, and prototype various types of product designs. *Designs utilize difficult to mold engineered resins such as PEEK, ULTEM, Radel, Udel, Amodel. *Utilize Moldflow and Cosmos FEA to improve product optimization and processing verification.*Improve impact resistance, RF transparency, static-dissipative, chemical resistance, and tensile strength.*Designed and developed international tooling for the thermoplastics industry. *Develop tooling for automotive, cosmetic, medical, and consumer products. *Utilize 3D parametric solid modeling techniques along with Computer-aided analysis for product design optimization.*Utilize CNC Programming, Mills, lathe, and grinding along with programming and running a 4-axis wire EDM machine. System Administration-I was responsible for the installation and maintenance of both UNIX-based and Windows-based computers. Throughout my career, I have become proficient in using the following software: Microsoft Office, Moldflow- Part Advisor, Moldflow - Insight, and Moldflow- FUSION, and CAD Packages: SolidWorks, ANSYS, Inventor, Catia, Pro-Engineer, Unigraphics, Cosmos, Compact II, APT, Mechanic, and LAMA. SolidWorks is my preferred and current software system.
