- Functionally test NFSv2, NFSv3, CIFS, and SAN protocols including write test plans, test cases, and scripts. I wrote bash scripts such that they can be used under different unix platforms (write once, run many) to test the CLI portion. - Used Quality Center (Mercury Interactive Test Director) to file bugs.- I am very hands on and do all the necessary software installs (OS, drivers, patches, etc) and hardware installs (HBAs, iSCSI cards, etc), zoning, for our particular setup. - I lead 5 Jr. QA personnel with learning about and to test our product from both a Functional and System Test point of view with System Test (primarily black box testing; good and error paths) being our emphasis. - Installed, setup, and configured Oracle 10g RAC under RHEL4U5 with the database to LUNs on our Axiom product. Similarly, I have installed and configured VMWare ESX 3.5 along with creating and installing virtual machines on LUNs on our Pillar Axiom.

- Developed automated test scripts for testing coredump and savecore on NAS filers using Perl. These tests have also been developed to work on Clustered Fail Over system (High Availability) filers.- Wrote and executed test plans, test cases, and test procedures. - Discovered and documented software bugs using their internal bug tracking tool (BURT), and verified software fixes.

- Took ownership of the creation, design, development, execution, and analysis of bash scripts to validate the Administration and Configuration Interface (ACI) functionality of our Virtual Tape Storage (VTS) product. - Modified, executed, and did test result analysis of channel programs in VM/ESA and for MVS/ESA jobs of our OSS product. - Design, develop, and executed test plans and test cases against our OSS product from product definition and design specifications. - Participated and provided feedback on new product developments including design reviews, inspections, and code reviews. - Opened, tracked defects, and validated software fixes against new releases using our ARS bug tracking tool. - Performed initial product installation, connectivity, test, and analysis with new software releases including regression and new function testing of ACI, Call Home feature, Toads VM/ESA channel programs, and MVS/ESA jobs involving stress, capacity, and data integrity.
