I started my professional career in the United States Air Force in 1995. While serving my country in Cheyenne, WY, I learned a lot about teamwork, time management, and how to work under stressful situations. After an honorable discharge in 1999 I moved home to Morganton, NC and began a long tenure as a pharmacy technician. This challenging field reinforced my teamwork and problem solving skills, along with significant attention to detail and customer service. I graduated from East Carolina University in May of 2017 with a Bachelor's in Political Science. In 2019, I began a career as drafter and designer at an architectural firm in Morganton, NVERSE Architects. This field has also taught me valuable new computer and design skills along with reinforcing my research skills and customer centric attitude. I have also gained particular knowledge of the positives and negatives of running a small business from day to day. I currently work part time at NVERSE and am enrolled as a full time student at Appalachian State University. I am due to graduate in May of 2026 with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. I am looking forward to challenging and exciting work in this new field. I hope I can use my past work endeavors and my life experience to add quality for an employer.
