Generated retirement document packages utilizing Relius software prototype, volume submitter, and individually-designed plans making sure that the plans met the form requirements for §401(a) of the IRC.Ensured retirement plan documentation satisfied Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Department of Labor (DOL), IRS and legislative requirements; drafted documents utilizing current “Cumulative List” for the applicable plan year looking for any statutory, regulatory, and guidance changes for submissions by plan sponsors. Consulted on plan designs for §457, §403(b), and §401(a) retirement plan document packages to ensure that they met with client specifications and there were no “cut back” in benefits to participants who had accrued a non-forfeitable right to those benefits. Managed the processing of amendments, mergers, and plan terminations in compliance with the IRC insuring the plan conformed to the client’s desired plan design maintaining the plan’s tax exempt status.Identified process improvements to create efficiencies in document preparation standards for multiple projects to ensure accuracy and timely deliverables.
