During this phase of my career, I launched a new platform targeted to improve Big Data accessibility across the business. In this general management role, I oversaw development including strategy, vision, and execution of the platform including roadmap, SDLC, and go-to-market activities such as migration and retiring four legacy platforms. Finally, I extracted data from a Big Data Analytics Platform. The Caucus brings together EDI Network Stakeholder organizations toencourage the efficient utilization of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and to seek out enhancementsand solutions that are designed to improve the interconnect process.MISSION STATEMENTThe mission of the CONNECTIVITY CAUCUS is to bring consistency, reliability, dependability and processvisibility to the commercial networking markets involved with the exchange of business‐relateddocuments, between and among the networking community, through the development and widespreadadoption of standards and implementation guidelines.GOALS AND OBJECTIVES1. Helped to re-establish ASC X12 involvement with cross-organization projects including the engagement and signing of an MOU with HIMSS. PURPOSE AND SCOPEThe Marketing and Business Development Task Group (MBTG) is chartered to develop recommendations to the ASC X12 Steering Committee pertaining to ASC X12 products, sponsorships and partnerships that ensure its continued role as the recognized cross-industry forum for electronic document exchange. MBTG activities will be focused on the financial viability and cross-industry visibility of ASC X12.All work products of the task group are subject to review and approval by the ASC X12 Steering Committee. The MBTG will: 1. Analyze, prioritize and recommend to the Steering Committee strategies that improve the financial position or cross-industry visibility of ASC X12. 2. Work with the ASC X12 secretariat and the subcommittees of ASC X12 to develop and distribute marketing communications and promotional materials approved by the ASC X12 Steering Committee. 3. Work with other Steering Committee Task Groups (such as the Collaboration and Outreach Task Group (COTG)), the ASC X12 secretariat, and ASC X12 subcommittees to develop outside funding opportunities as directed by the Steering Committee. 4. Develop revenue plans for new products and partnerships with the ASC X12 secretariat.
