I've started a book series on our relationship with Yeshua Ha'mashiach (Jesus Christ - I'm trying to embrace his Hebrew name, which is difficult after 60 years of using his Latinized version). Diverse responsibilities spanning a military career including operational and administrative initiatives, project and financial management, quality and training development. Hands on experience in purchasing and inventory management. In-depth knowledge of operational logistics with responsibilities for over 200 soldiers. Valued by colleagues for team leadership, work ethic, creativity and open-mindedness.o Recognized by superior officers and peers for developing innovative training programs and aids to assist in the education of cadets. One program is in use Army-wide.o Instrumental in coordinating the efforts of three National Guard infantry battalions to created a Standing Operating Procedures (SOP) which became the standard for all the battalions within the 76th Separate Infantry Brigade. Literally wrote the book.o Awarded for leadership as a Company Commander (200+ men & women); Platoon Leader (30+ men); Instructor (30+ cadets); and Assessment Team Leader (5 men).o Served as Infantry Platoon Leader during combat operations in Iraq. Fought and sustained the platoon during the longest ground assault ever undertaken.o Initiated and coordinated the Battalion’s Civilian Education Program which resulted in battalion soldiers achieving over 170 college credit hours in its first year.

Ran the office for a real estate investor. Bookkeeping, Quickbooks, email, advertising brochures, etc. Worked closely with maintenance, accountant, lawyer, contractors, and clients.

Chart was driven into bankruptcy by a series of negative stories by the local newspaper that were fueled by disgruntled ex-employees. The stories were factually false and the news told us they didn't care about the facts. I can only assume it was a slow news cycle and that their story would sell more papers than the actual truth. It pains me that Chart's failure hurt so many clients. God is Good and I believe He desires for all of us to be restored and more (John 10:10). I am still laying Chart to bed - this chapter is about finished. What for what comes next!

Successfully led 65+ employees in a fast-paced processing and packaging environment - responsible for 5 milk fillers and 12 ice cream and novelty machines. Continuously and successfully monitored and adjusted the plan to meet the needs of quality, shipping, and efficiency (minimizing downtime). Additional responsibilities included safety, quality, training, Kronos, GMP enforcement, evaluations, customer service, and TPC implementation.• Charted employee skills in two different departments resulting in the ability to map manning shortages before the summer rush and significantly reduced erroneous pay-outs to employees.• Worked with associates to rearrange product placement in the cooler resulting in a judicious division of labor and less fragmented stock - allowing for swifter order picking.

Successfully led 33 hourly employees in the operation of seven high-speed extrusion lines to produce cereals and food additives for several major food manufacturers - including allergen tracking and cross-contamination avoidance. Additional responsibilities included safety, quality, training, Kronos, GMP enforcement, and evaluations.• Implemented a long-term training program to provide for knowledgeable and trained employees as the company underwent massive expansion. Over 50% of the key personnel needed to run the four new lines came from my shift (25% of the total production staffing) without causing disruptions to existing operations.

Successfully led 16 hourly employees in the operation of eight high-speed production lines and the Portola Blow Molds - producing and packaging of Milk, OJ, yogurt, and assorted drinks. Additional responsibilities included safety, quality, training, and GMP enforcement.• Designed numerous computer programs to track production, efficiencies, and inventory.• Computer skills were instrumental in Plant receiving 100% rating by SQF evaluators.• Initiated and/or updated several existing processes that improved accountability of asset utilization (regular/temporary hourly employees, production, materials/waste control).

Successfully led 35 full-time employees and contracting with temporary agency to supplement the workforce to meet production goals. Accountable for production and packaging of Trail Mixes - including allergen tracking and the avoidance of cross-contamination. Additional responsibilities included safety, quality, training, Kronos, GMP enforcement, and evaluations. • Provided hourly employees leadership development to improve skill gaps, cross departmental collaboration, and to create a sense of empowerment and business ownership.• Overhauled procedures for inventory that significantly increased accuracy and reduced the time necessary to reconcile reports between production and warehouse by nearly 50%.

Initially hired to streamline and simplify shipping procedures due to logistical experience in the U.S. Army. Transformed procedures and designed computer programs that increased effectiveness and organized effective data retrieval systems while reducing the number of man-hours necessary by over sixty percent.• Forecasted inventory needs and coordinated transfers between the California and Indiana Plants - Maximizing volume transferred resulting in diminished shipment and storage costs.• Secured and contracted for trucking (we had no internal fleet); maintained invoices and verified shipping rates• Worked directly with customers to arrange and meet shipping needs and delivery dates.
