I've had a great time working my way up through the various levels of training from the Zenith days to LG. Over the years the department has grown in size and abilities. I currently oversee a training staff, development of training content, and am playing a key role in the launch of a very exciting LMS system to be used by internal (account managers, our 3PL) and external (retail salespeople) parties. In the past I did oversee a third party team of field reps that conduct store visits and trainings. I am surrounded by great people and my biggest challenge is keeping up with their quickly growing abilities. We're continually refining our presentation to deliver usable information for the sales associates we train, helping them to have the practical, demonstrable information they need to sell LG products. I am fortunate that my current position gives me daily access to the Sales Team, Marketing, Product Management, and Administration. Every day is a tremendous opportunity to learn. This is fun when you work with great people towards the same goal!

"Maria's Portuguese Table" is the first program in the United States that is entirely focused on Portuguese culture. Starring Emmy nominated host Maria Lawton, each episode focuses on the food and culture of Portugal. Originally airing on PBS Rhode Island, it is currently available nationally on Create channel as well as PBS's individual stations.

I worked here after Highland closed all their New England locations. Apex was a privately held department store, one of the last ones in the mold of a Sears. This was another great experience, providing the rare opportunity to manage commissioned sales people, merchandise multiple departments by instinct and experience and not a planogram, as well as working closely with a lot of different manufacturers' sales reps, trainers, and detailers. I use what I learned here everyday.

Highland was a great place to learn retail sales as well as the electronics and appliance industries. The Seekonk MA and Darmouth MA stores were invaluable learning grounds and provided me with a solid foundation in the business.
