I am a visionary entrepreneur who has excelled in straddling and expanding a career in the academic, public and private sectors. Dedicated to the growth of the health care industry, I thrive in both start up and large matrix organizations generating close to $1 billion dollars in annual revenues. After completing a Ph.D. degree from Drexel University, I profitably commercialized my research to launch Cardiometrix, Inc. a multi-million dollar provider of cardiac monitoring services for the pharmaceutical industry, hospitals and cardiologists employing more than 300 people. Extraordinary growth and diversification was recognized in Federal Government contracting for a wide range of examination and diagnostic services. I am very experienced and adept at providing "end to end" executive management, advice, guidance and support throughout the entire research and product development process, licensing, funding and commercialization pathway. Skilled in managing teams working in both entrepreneurial or academic settings including engineers, scientists, clinicians and the many other stake holders involved in executing a successful translational biomedical research project.Gained unique experience in physician recruitment during the burgeoning growth of managed health care. Personally recruited and contracted with over 3,000 specialist physicians, hospitals and testing centers. I have served in concurrent leadership roles, Chief Executive Officer, academic professor teaching entrepreneurship to thousands and high level university administrator/liaison to a major foundation.
