Zep is a leading provider of specialty chemical products to both retail and industrial and institutional users, with sales of ~$700MM. Full P&L responsibility and oversight of three manufacturing sites producing over 2,500 specialty chemical SKU’s. Trained in Japan and with domestic consultants on end to end Lean tools used to do full conversions in these facilities.•Reduced cost >$4MM and increased capacity 44% through the implementation of a total business system with 5S, SMED, TPM, S&OP, VSM, at its core, to drive process and cultural improvements•Realized $360M in savings by reducing chemical scrap 64% in aerosol facility, also improving environmental compliance •Achieved $5.5MM in incremental revenue by researching and adding bag-on-valve technology to product mix •Reduced OSHA rate from 5.6 to 0.3 enabling sites to work 1.8MM man-hours during my tenure without a LTA•Trained in Lean methodologies by Shingijutsu group from Japan, as well as Lean Horizons, achieving 7 certifications
