This was delivered in 90 days after award of the contract, passed ass security and vulnerability tests and received high praise from the US Department of Treasury. Also managed significant new developments in the areas of customer extranets, document management and paperless processing, Schedule F Funding, Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund data collection and verification application, revenue forecasting and budgeting, and transition of the finance interface from Great Plains to PeopleSoft.

Managed the creation of the first document imaging system for claims with a web portal for customers (I was a speaker at a conference on how to build this in an integrated way with core line of business systems), created a reinsurer calendar year statistical data warehouse, created a Schedule F Funding tracking system, new EDI interfaces for some of our largest reinsurers, a contract workflow and tracking system with controls to track signing status and compliance with NAIC rules, enhanced the sales placement tracking and controls, and enhanced the system to support multiple balance sheets and legal entities. Implemented source code control department wide, formalized the software deployment process, started an intranet to document and communicate policies and procedures, took responsibility for disaster recovery planning and testing.

I took this position to get into a high growth company with excellent margins, and to spearhead a project to move their accounting and claims systems off the Wang system and into a Microsoft Windows based environment. We developed a reusable application framework, rapid application development process.
