Catchment Engineer secondment for the WMD (West) Area. I continue to lead on technical support and assurance to help ensure we maintain our asset portfolio to an industry leading standard, whilst managing a small engineering team of students and graduates.I continue to carry out my role as Reservoir Lead for the Area and it is my responsibility to ensure our reservoir assets remain compliant with the Reservoirs Act 1975. As part of the Environment Agency's Incident Response responsibilities I have been trained as an Flood Warning Duty Officer as my designated Incident Response Role.This role involves me monitoring current and predicted rainfall, monitoring gauges and issuing Flood Warnings and Alerts where necessary.

A position within the Environment Agency's National Capital Programme Management Service (NCPMS). My position involved managing various projects throughout the West Midlands region. My work included; production of business cases, NEC3 and NEC4 contracts (both ECC and PSC), project specifications, producing spend forecasts and other day to day project management tasks.

Site secondment to Galliford Black & Veatch as part of the Derby Our City, Our River Scheme.I carried out/assisted with various site based tasks, such as setting out, surveying and completing quality assurance activities.

A series of summer placements over three years. Positions included Project Leader, Junior Site Engineer and CAD Technician.The work involved hydraulic and structural design, CAD work, project management and site based activities including setting out and surveying.
