Editor And Owner
Created in July 2014, Spokenforks is an independent website dedicated to WorldTour cycling and the British domestic scene; race previews, live coverage, rider profiles and interviews. As well as the official website, Spokenforks also provides live commentary via Twitter during major events, with all content being created, edited and promoted by myself. The first grand tour to be covered was 2014's Vuelta a España, a successful debut which concluded with both a win rate and place race in excess of 50%. Reporting upon David Millar's farewell ride at the Bec CC Hill Climb was a highlight of Spokenforks' debut season, the article itself going on to receive positive feedback from both Millar's family and race organisers. Debut coverage of the Spring Classics campaign saw correct predictions in races such as Liége-Bastogne-Liége, E3 Harelbeke and Strade-Bianche to name a brief selection. Despite only being the second grand tour to be covered by Spokenforks, 2015's Giro d'Italia proved to be another successful experience, securing several correct stage winners and consistent forecasting which never saw a prediction fall outside the day's top ten during the entire three weeks.

Pr & Social Media Manager
Role created specifically to allow me to join, primarily as a result of my successful PR work at Fusion Media and thus tasked with helping Out Loud Music launch their new multidiscipline community arts venue. Through working closely with a diverse range of charities, projects and the local media, we have grown to become a hub for those needing a platform to engage and support marginalised demographics. Work at Out Loud Music has meant developing new abilities in order to help create promotional content; videography, photography, sound editing and live streaming being recent additions to my skill set.- Responsible for the creation of all text and photographic promotional materials; implemented PR calendars and social media schedules across all platforms, growth of 800 followers across social media profile on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.- Taught how best to understand the tender process in regards to identifying and submitting official bids for government and charity arts grants with which we would be able to increase the scale of our work.
Live Broadcast Presenter
Transitioning from the composition of my own music, to sharing and discussing artists via public radio has provided me with a new viewpoint on working in public broadcast. Knowing how to tailor your work into consumable formats is a cornerstone of being able to build a listenership; while remaining unique amongst the array of digital radio. Learning the technological requirements of live broadcasting was an intuitive process for myself; overlapping multimedia skills from music production were an asset during this process.
Internship
Joined cycling PR agency Fusion Media as an intern from October to March, a role which developed rapidly into generating written promotional content on behalf of clients such as Strava, Etixx and The London Bike Show for use by the press. My ability to write high quality content at a reliable speed allowed me to cement myself as a key component within the process of generating client content.- Credited with a byline on The Metro website- Compiled Strava 'End of Year' data reports used by national papers and cycling press in UK, Belgium, The Netherlands and more. - Digital work published by Cycling Weekly, Rouleur, RCUK, BikeRadar, Gazzetta Dello Sport and wrote on behalf of Sir Chris Hoy.
Music Editor
Early work at the magazine focused upon interviewing artists which we wished to shine a spotlight upon, performers such as Mount Kimbie and Mr.Scruff for example. Alongside this, I also continued to submit polemical contributions as a staff writer for both digital and print platforms. As 2014 transitioned into 2015, I was promoted to Music Editor in order to help curate and manage collaborations with tailored artists for our online broadcast series of exclusive mixes. This Soundcloud initiative has seen as discover unknown artists and build a network of contributors stretching across both sides of the Atlantic. My contributions at Seven Shades of Black Magazine also included spending time during 2014 analysing online viewership statistics, in order to help create tailored advertising packages for possible commercial clients. A broad understanding of social media has been a cornerstone to working efficiently at the magazine, providing an education as how is best to turnaround work swiftly in an engaging and informative fashion.

Co Creator & Performer
