Responsibilities include, but not limited to:*Overseeing procurement and maintaining of $1.8 million of physical inventory. Partnered closely with industrial buyer, plant controller/accountant, shipping/receiving dept, and all levels of maintenance staff.*Controlling inventory locations and min/max levels physically as well as through ERP system software.*Administrating creation of new MRO materials in ERP inventory system for all plants in the foam trays division.*Working directly with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions.*Leading 3-person team to cooperatively maintain, stock, and cycle count over 3500 MRO SKUs for maintenance dept, as well as creating purchase requisitions and purchase orders for production, office, and sanitation supplies.*Assisting maintenance manager and supervisor in oversight/operation of CMMS module.*Acclimating contractors and plant visitors with food packaging facility cleanliness and safety standards (GFSI, HSP, HACCP, SQF).*Distributing mechanical parts to maintenance staff; distributing PPE to all employees and plant visitors.*Creating custom documents, spreadsheets, and reports.*Compiling/filing records and other clerical functions as needed.Other highlights:*Member of transition team during Novipax acquisition of Sealed Air's Food Care Division.*Designed training programs and SOPs for three separate ERP systems (AS400/ELKE, SAP, IQMS).*Designed CMMS training programs and SOPs for SAP and IQMS.*Instrumental in entire process of migrating from AS400/ELKE ERP system to SAP, and from SAP to IQMS (discovery sessions, data gathering, beta testing, go live, daily use)*Built highly detailed backup MRO database (updated daily).*Personally trained all storeroom personnel since September 2006.*Former safety committee member.*Cross-trained as Receiving Clerk.*Licensed forklift driver.*Discovered and reported +$777k inventory error due to system inadvertently duplicating 49% of all MRO stock.
