This role involved repairing and installing telephone, broadband and superfast broadband lines to residential and business customers for all service providers. Several skills were acquired and honed including problem solving, fault finding, communication (with customers as well as various levels of BT management), organisation and persuasion techniques. Constant training was completed to enhance these skills. It was always exciting and educational to work within such a diverse workforce and customer base.

Team leader in the Ski Hire department. First Aid training was maintained to a high standard which included some mountain rescue techniques to be able to help injured people on a snowy slope.. Leadership, organisation, communication and persuasive techniques were developed. I also worked part-time work in the Ski Hire department whilst working at TOCCO (UK) Ltd. Constantly improving communication and customer service skills as well as technical knowledge of the ski equipment.
