I work alongside a team of amazing folks who are passionate about developing engaging and impactful training on the various complicated nuclear systems on the project site. Partnering with system engineers, operators, mechanics, and other subject matter experts, I analyze the current instructor led training lesson plans and convert them to an independent learning, computer based training module (eLearning) using Articulate Storyline 360. These modules must meet rigorous Department of Energy standards while also providing a fun and interactive way to learn how the systems work together and how they can be safely operated. Many of these systems fall under the Center for Disease Control's "As Low As Reasonably Achievable" guidelines (ALARA).Key Tasks, Responsibilities, and Skills:• Partner with multiple different subject matter experts to understand various system flowpaths, specifications, and control network setpoints & interlocks• Analyze current PPT lesson plans for accuracy of system components and design specifications• Read multiple different engineering documents to ensure that content is factual and current; these include the following and more: - System Design Descriptions - Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams - Logic, Block, and Network Diagrams - Configuration Data Index Documentation• Knowledge of basic mechanical engineering and fluid dynamics to understand how systems operate and work together• Expert development skills on Articulate Storyline, including the use of AI, to develop engaging and impactful eLearning modules Show less
