I am a combat veteran of O.E.F., Honorably Discharged, currently serving as a Paralegal Specialist for the IRS—Office of Chief Counsel. Having recently graduated from IUPUI's Bachelorette of Law in Liberal Arts program, I am continuing my education through Indiana University—Robert H. McKinney School of Law's Part-Time / Hybrid J.D. program. I place a heavy emphasis on personal and professional development to ensure a better future for my local community, and as such, spend what spare time I have volunteering with Pro Bono Indiana - District 13. I am extremely passionate about veteran recidivism rates in Indiana and hope to make a positive impact in this area after obtaining my J.D. However, until that time, I look to the words of L. E. Modesitt Jr. to maintain my focus: "Never mistake law for justice. Justice is an ideal, and law is but a tool."
