Leads Winrock International's Forestry and Natural Resource Management team. Develops and manages a portfolio of international development programs related to biodiversity conservation, sustainable landscapes, fisheries, and climate change.

Responsible for successful implementation of the Amazon Indigenous Rights and Resources (AIRR) project, a $21M effort seeking to strengthen indigenous peoples’ organizations to effectively advocate for their rights and strengthen indigenous enterprises in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. Led central management unit of 11 staff, supported four regional teams comprised of national and regional indigenous federations, NGOs, and WWF country teams (23 partners in all).

Senior technical advisor to US government agencies in SE Asia on environmental, social and financial dimensions of agriculture, forestry and trade of commodities. Advised on sustainable landscape development, ESG investing, increasing private sector engagement, and global supply chain sourcing.

Led global philanthropic efforts in sustainability. Led women's economic empowerment programs in sustainable agriculture reaching over 1 million small farmers worldwide. Mapped and scaled sustainable sourcing models for agriculture. Created sustainability programs matching Walmart's global presence and supply chain footprint.

Faculty member of Office for International Research, Education and Development (OIRED). Pursued and managed grants to promote international opportunities for university involvement in education, forestry and agriculture.

Led implementation of Bolivia Sustainable Forest Management (BOLFOR) project, a $15M effort that improved forestry operations, promoted conservation, improved household incomes and increased exports. Supervised project staff and managed community, donor and government relations.

Led effort to establish in-country presence and programs. Led government relations to expansion conservation programs to three national parks; created NGO advisory network; advised on conflict resolution efforts with indigenous populations and other multi-sector stakeholder engagement efforts. Managed Noel Kempff Mercado climate action project, world’s largest carbon sequestration program.

Developed strategic plan and new programs to determine future United States government involvement related to environmental sustainability through multi-sector stakeholder consultation process. Led development of United States government indicators on pollution abatement activities. Managed relationship with government counterparts to ensure support for bilateral programs during politically sensitive times.
