Held the position of full-time instructor in the ITT School of Drafting and Design, Youngstown campus. Have taught a large variety of accredited technical courses to adult learners both on-site and on-line. Developed training material for certification review and general technical information seminars. Routinely represented the department and school in promotional events such as open house and new student orientation activities. Directly responsible for many graphic displays promoting most campus activities.Published articles in quarterly school newsletter. Also organized a variety of field trips and guest speaker lectures. Classes taught focused primarily with the design field. Lab course work included Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, 3D Max Design), Adobe (Photoshop CS5, Illustrator CS3), other software products including Microsoft Office, Eagle Design, PLATO, and ALEKS. Additionally, theory classes focused on manufacturing, architecture, civil design, technical illustration, and project management.Student wise, been responsible for student assistance in all capacities including tutoring, project assistance, professional recommendations, mock interviews, and career development.Worked closely with other departments in spirit of excellent customer service as well as proctored examinations, and placement testing. Routinely served as subject matter expert for marketing department and course transfer evaluations for the Office of the Registrar. Administratively, been responsible for student performance, attendance retention, project development, student club advising, organizational leadership, and department promotion. Additionally chaired several department Professional Advisory Council meetings, held bi-annually.Served as interim Program Chair for the Drafting and Design department in 2006. Held professional memberships with American Design and Drafting Association and Electronics Technicians Association.
