In late 2018 I set up EvrBilt providing measured building survey and consultancy to the built environment. I'm working with designers, contractors and consultants to improve their survey knowledge and specification, assisting companies a with digital transformation, and providing advice and services on improving as-built information at hand-over. EvrBilt also provides measured and topographical surveys delivered in Scan to BIM Revit or CAD formats. We are currently working with clients including a large public health trust, several universities and councils, and private clients. Our ability to provide a spectrum of services including traditional survey methods, laser scanning and UAV photography for photgrammetry and constrution verification.Robert is a founding member of the Construction Verification Initiative which was set up to promote and define the use of construction verification to improve as-built accuracy, quality and safety. He is well know as one of the leading experts in the practical application of verification. He is also an active member of Survey4BIM.As a regular sailor and racer, Robert has been Director of Racing at Little Britain Challenge Cup since 2014. The event is the largest and longest running Construction and Property industry sailing regatta providing a fun weekend every September for team building, networking and client entertainment.Having worked producing existing building BIM from a designer/builder point of over the last five years of my design practice I joined SUMO in 2015 to steup and run a new department working to deliver high quality existing BIM with a strong emphasis on integrating the survey process with level 2 BIM. While at SUMO I shaped their offerings for Scan2BIM for existing buildings and for Topographic and Utility Survey BIM.I was a founding director of the start-up devBLD in 2018, which creates productivity and automation software to support built environment survey workflows and was successful in gaining stage 1 Innovate UK funding under the SBRI programme to explore using IoT (Internet of Things) sensors to improve environment and safety in social housing.I was a founding Director of Studio Klaschka in 2001 and I have a broad industry experience in design and construction since 1995.Author (part) and editor “BIM in Small Practices: Illustrated Case Studies” published by RIBA Enterprises, June 2014.
